To prolong the shelf life of assorted parts, I have been using silica = gel in my part containers and drying the gel through microwave. But re-absorption of the surrounding steam by the gel is very fast, so I = have to elevate the gel package and let the heated water drain down and = eventually they become vapor and being suck away by the microwave fan.
