I see. The problem is that the bug in Microchip Forum software makes people
wonder what really happened.

As Olin pointed out in one of his Microchip Forum post,

the forum software upgrade in January 2006 is really a
"Black January downgrade", all the he old links did not work any
more and all the old attachment were gone and there are
some other bugs as well.
