As a matter of fact. Mr Murphy passed by my place last night! I just finished re-writing the SPI bit-banging routine that I want to use to interface my AD9834 DDS chip and hooked up my oscilloscope to the DDS board and hit the *program DDS button* on my microcontroller board. When I tuned my head to my scope I saw a beautiful sine wave on the screen when I heard a knock on the door. I turned my head and Mr Murphy was standing in the doorway. When I turned my head to my project I found that my SPI wires weren't even connected to the DDS and that the ground of my scope was floating: The sine on the scope was interference. I was about ready to cry like a baby! Sean. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
