With all the recent discussion of the MSP430, I was wondering if someone who has started using it could give me an idea of how they got into it, and how difficult they found it to program versus your typical 8-bit AVR or PIC? I assume you would have used C to program the MSP430, but perhaps you used assembly? Did you learn assembly before C, as we tell everyone who starts with the 8 bit MCUs? What development board did you use? What would you do differently/ what problems did you encounter? If someone answers those questions I'll put them on a webpage for other people to see ;-) Thank you, Martin K -- Martin Klingensmith http://wwia.org/ http://nnytech.net/ -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
