Parting ways with my contract assembler in Texas and thinking I should hire 
someone directly for this.  Since I just somewhat moved to FL, this would 
mean getting an office here where I can physically accomodate a person, and 
then finding a person.

For those that are on either side of this, where are the good places to search 
for someone?  I'm avoiding monster et al for now since that will drag the 
process on quite a bit.  But is the newspaper the right place to find a 
tech-ish person?  Online discussion forums tend to be too geographically 
broad.

Also, is it realistic to find someone directly who can assemble surface-mount 
(SSOP's and 0805), or is that rare?
