I didn't get the Paladin crimper - in fact I won't buy one until I find someone that sells the crimping dies. I found at least three US distributors that carry the full sets of dies and both the 1300 and 8000 crimpers, but nobody in the UK seems to carry anything other than the crimper and the fibre-optic crimping dies. Farnell InOne have got the crimp tool but not the dies - stock code 413-2658 or go to http://www.farnell.com/uk/ and search for "CrimpAll". I'll probably end up ringing the UK main distributor tomorrow - if I find anything out, I'll post a message on the PICLIST (and probably to my blog too) and let you guys know. The Paladin PT525 "PowerPlay" multi-tool also looks pretty neat. URL is . This looks similar to the Leatherman (not sure if I got the brand name right, but at least I tried) tools that are sold in the USA, but I've never seen anything remotely similar over here. Sure I can get a Victorinox knife, but that's not exactly the best tool for the job when 99.9% of what you do is computer repair... -- Phil. | Kitsune: Acorn RiscPC SA202 64M+6G ViewFinder philpem@dsl.pipex.com | Cheetah: Athlon64 3200+ A8VDeluxeV2 512M+100G http://www.philpem.me.uk/ | Tiger: Toshiba SatPro4600 Celeron700 256M+40G -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
