You MUST see that!! Also, we have a pretty nice zoo ( www.zooatlanta.org ) and next to the zoo is the Cyclorama ( http://roadsidegeorgia.com/site/cyclorama.html ) - a huge 3D painting/sculpture depicting the Battle of Atlanta during the War Between the States. If you're in town when the Braves are playing, it's a nice family event. The stadium is really nice. Course the Braves aren't doing too well since they are being sold - to whom no one knows and their morale is pretty bad. If you like art, there's the High Museum of Art ( www.high.org) on Peachtree Street. Fernbank Science Center and Fernbank (Astronomical) Observatory are (get to either from http://www.fernbank.edu/ ) also great family activities. By the way, there's no enforced speed limit in Georgia. Well, occasionally someone gets a ticket for speeding, but, for the most part, people drive as fast as they can on the expressways so be careful.
