HI,

I have just started using PICs and am finding it hard to find any example
assembly code. I am trying to make a PIC control a motor using Hall Effect
devices to control its movement. I want to make the motor count the pulses
from the Hall Effect so that it can stop after a specific number has been
counted; I then want it to pause, for 5 seconds, before carrying on until a
second input is given. 

Currently I can turn the motor on and of but am having trouble making it
pause.

Does anyone know how to do this?
