The Yahoo Groups of MSP430 and LPC2100 both have quite some 3rd party vendors there. PIClist is unique. It seems to me that no big third party people are posting here. > I've been actively using MSP430s in new designs for about 3 years now > and I have to say it's become my favorite microcontroller family to > develop with over the PIC and AVR families. The selection of the chips seems not so good (either too small or too big). The analog subsystem (eg: ADC) is not as good as Silicon Labs C8051. Of course, MSP430 is very interesting as well: nice architecture, free GCC, cheap JTAG and demo boards from Olimex, lowest current consumption, ... By the way, is TI a good vendor to work with?
