Because of that, I just use Google to find app notes.  Microchip's tend to 
come up first.  Either because they're the only ones to use that clever 
numbering system, or because Google rates pages based on 
popularity...  Either way, it's a whole lot faster.

I don't doubt that MChip's own site could be missing pointers to that, but 
the doc itself is there.
