For us, this is a really nice device.

I just finished a remote 8 thermocouple interface with I2C using the EZ 
and Kickstart. I attached a ribbon cable to the EZ device, plugged it 
into an extension USB cable and used it to in-circuit program/emulate my 
'2013 under JTAG.

There were some issues with the I2C silicon, having to do with ACK/NACK, 
which TI provided a code workaround for. This will be fixed in 
subsequent releases.
