This is indeed a neat method to help the blind people. I feel that (in
Berlin)the vehicle noise zipping near by would easily distort the soft beep
sounds. May be blind people have very sharp ears.

In my country this will not work out due to vehicle noise.... and not to
mention people honking at each other.
