Actually, I lied. Not intentionally, of course. What I meant to say was that if I click on the datasheet at the Microchip website (a pdf file) with Firefox, the file is downloaded into Acrobat Reader (which is an AR plugin), and that pretty much always works. But whenever I download a datasheet like that, I click the little floppy disk symbol at the top left of Acrobat Reader to save it to a file on my computer, and that is where the hangup sometimes occurs. I had a 56KB dial-up connection for many years, but not too long ago they finally brought Comcast cable out here in the country, where I live, so I switched to cable. I don't think that I could ever go back to a dial-up now! :-) .
