> Looking for a battery operated water pump, very small flow > volume, in the range of a trickle. Anyone come across > something like this? Maybe something like used in model > railroads or the like to emulate a stream or waterfall. Or to water plants with power from a small solar cell? http://www.xs4all.nl/~sbolt/e-groeneVinger_Duim.html "The pump (green cylinder with white top) is a type used to tank model aircraft. The original motor was intended for 12V, making solar power difficult to arrange. An old toothbrush motor is much better for our purpose, as it needs only 2.4V." Please do let me know if you find anything good as I am interested as well. I would assume a diaphragm type pump would be the most efficient and driving it from a high efficiency motor or solenoid would give the best bang for the buck, but I am not a real engineer, I only play one on the net. --- James. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
