I've been using Microchip PICs for quite some time but today is the first time for me to go to their local sales office (I am in Singapore). The office is located in the central business district area and each FAE or sales engineer has his own small room. Typically they have a Thinkpad notebook and some sample box /demo boards on the table. Quite nice, I will say. And it is nice to know that they will have a 16-bit seminar next Tuesday and the US$50 registration fee will include a Explorer 16 Demo board (usual price US$129) and tomorrow is the last day to register. So I registered for the seminar on the spot. Later I find out that the seminar seminar may cost US$119 in the States. How many people here have been to a Microchip office and how is the office?
