Hi Dumitru,
Will a small value resistor in series do? The voltage across it will be
equal to R*I. You will have to watch power dissipation.

Hi guys,
I have a short question i cannot answer by myself. I want to be able
to measure how much current is drawn from my circuit using PIC's ADC
and some sensor maybe... Do you happen to know a simple way to do
this? I used TL431 as a reference if i am not mistaken to measure
how much voltage i still have in the batery and it works really good.
I can light up a red led when the voltage is too low but i want to be
able to calculate the instant current consumption.
