You may as well take the reading for the day and >start afresh Joe, It's only relevant in that it determines the maximum counter size required, i.e. the number of cells in the EEPROM which need to be updated. 5 years is 2630880 minutes which will comfortably fit into 3 bytes which IIRC is the size counter that Bob was using?
