In Auschwitz the B is written mirror image supposedly as a warning to newcomers. I think I might see what you are getting at, Russell. Say for instance a very evil regime invented the transistor and did so at the expense and suffering of millions, would it be wrong to use that technology? Like with the medical experiments?
