A bit OT for this OT thread: http://mfes.com/rudy.htm lists some errors in
an SAE book about brake design and safety due to conversion problems
between different systems of units ("22 N should be 445 N (100 pounds is
correct, and 1 pound equals 4.448 Newtons)"). It seems that this problem is
not confined to mars rovers...
