What he was doing is marketing research (kind-of), although from an engineer's point of view, which is a wrong way to do it. He might have defended his credibility as an engineer, but just killed his credibility as a businessman. He took your discussion about credibility too personal. As long as he is "the company" any reference to him personally should be considered first as a reference for the company. Again, instead of engaging into a discussion about product, he got pissed off and missed a great chance to discuss a product with an interested and engaged potential customer. A lot of marketing pros will kill for that chance. As a side note, the effect of the thread on me (personnaly) is that I will think very-very hard before buying his book, and probably not buy it at all. Sergey ------------------ Sergey A.
