Well the book I learned verilog with was:
Verilog HDL by Samir Palnitkar, SunSoft Press

A newer book (that covers the Verilog 2000 extensions) is:
Design Through Verilog HDL
By T. R Padmanabhan and B. Bala Tripura Sundari
Wiley

There are many others out there, these just happen to be the ones I've
learned from.

Lots of stuff on the web as well.
