I'm having a similar problem on my Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 laptop, which has a Trident CyberBlade-XP video chipset. The difference being that when I run it on the laptop I get an Illegal Instruction error from NTVDM. I think I need to see about picking apart the data the Cyberblade is returning in the VESA Hardware Info and Mode Info blocks... and maybe take a look at the driver to see if it's actually doing the VESA calls as they're supposed to be done. -- Phil. | Kitsune: Acorn RiscPC SA202 64M+6G ViewFinder philpem@dsl.pipex.com | Cheetah: Athlon64 3200+ A8VDeluxeV2 512M+100G http://www.philpem.me.uk/ | Tiger: Toshiba SatPro4600 Celeron700 256M+40G -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
