I've got a copy of Protel Autotrax here. The VGA 640x480 version works fine on Win2k, but for some reason the 800x600 and 1024x768 VESA drivers send my desktop machine's Geforce6600GT mad. "OUT OF SYNC RANGE: FV=26HZ". I'd love to know why it does that, yet 640x480 VESA mode works fine :-/ I really need to write a Protel driver debugger and pick apart the VESA drivers. They're doing *something* wrong, but it's a mystery what that something is. Or maybe NTVDM is being silly (what else is new). Anyone managed to get Autotrax 1.61 running on Win2k with the VESA drivers from www.airborn.com.au? If anyone's interested in playing with old CAD software, Seetrax have released the full version of Ranger 2 for Windows for free download - . If I can't get Autotrax to behave, I'll see about learning how to use Ranger. -- Phil. | Kitsune: Acorn RiscPC SA202 64M+6G ViewFinder philpem@dsl.pipex.com | Cheetah: Athlon64 3200+ A8VDeluxeV2 512M+100G http://www.philpem.me.uk/ | Tiger: Toshiba SatPro4600 Celeron700 256M+40G -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
