I have not been able to use Acrobat Reader and Realplayer under Ubuntu
Breezy until today. Anyway, evince/gpdf/kpdf and mplayer/totem are good
enough for me.

Still it is good that I know the root cause for the problem now. It is because
of the problem with SCIM (for Chinese input). I find out this through the
Ubuntu wiki. It also applies to acrobat, just edit /usr/bin/acroread and
the issues will be resolved.

I am still searching for a better way to get Firefox better running under
Ubuntu Breezy. It is the single most important program for me but it
crashes so often...
