The mention on the Indian Moon Mission thread about Forrest Mimms brought
back some memories of my early days in electronics.
 
This got me thinking of the first ever electronics book I bought - it was by
an author named R.A. Penfold.
 
He seems to have written books about just about everything but information
on the author is strangely elusive.
 
I emailled his authors last night and got the reply "No sorry, we do not
have any info." so a dead end there !
 
Anyone in the know about this author ?
