Now the archive will make a "fake" picon (google for picon) for domains that do not have one already. This allows you to instantly get to the web site of any poster who subscribes from a email at their own domain. E.g. Peter Todds email is ...@petertodd.ca so now his posts have a link to www.petertodd.ca and that cool meter clock... I've also added some nice icons for our more regular members (ampertronics, ncsradio) and a few that were very nice graphics. (e.g. Padu) I've also added a few faces to the archive (Vasile, Nate)... Actually now, a lot of our regular posters have a face that shows up in the archive. If you want yours added, send me a head shot and given sufficient time and motivation, I'll put it up. It's cool to be able to put a face to the post. If anyone is too embarrassed or hiding from the FBI, let me know and I'll take your face off. Err.. Your picon face, that is... In case anyone wondered why I'm working as much as I have been on the site and archive, it's because I've been given some donations of late http://www.piclist.com/support (see the very bottom left) And these nice people have made me feel A) guilty and B) like I can work on this a little more and on other consulting / food on the table sorts of things. So I have been. Let me know what else you would like to see in the archive browser http://www.piclist.com/techref/postbot.asp Or on the site itself and I'll try to figure out a way to make it happen. Oh, I almost forgot! It isn't just me working on the site: "Bill & Pookie" have added to the A2D Code Generator http://www.piclist.com/techref/A2DCodeGenerator.asp with a new script that scales any 16 bit BCD number without converting it from BCD to binary, scaling, and converting back: http://www.piclist.com/techref/ScaleCodeGenerator.asp This is actually pretty handy if you have a decimal input (like from a GPS or RTC or like that) and you want to do some scaling on the value before you display it.
