hi,

i am trying to make a propeller clock like display that will display system
temperatures,etc. of a pc through the rs232 port. i have basic electronic
knowledge, but am new to pic micro controllers. 

I am wondering if anyone knows how to program something like this and what
model pic to use, etc.
