That sure sounds like it.  I searched around the Microchip site, but I
sure didn't see that thread.  Everyone might want to take a look at that
thread since it mentions problems not covered in the errata.  Such as
simply _reading_ TMR1H or TMR1L can cause skipped counts on at least
some PICs.  pitiful.....  Seems to me that this kinda stuff could have
been wrung out during the chip design process.
