There is a much simplified offshoot called "Megajolt Lite Jnr", which uses the distributorless Ford EDIS ignition system (which does the majority of the work) and a small Motorla 8 bit controller to hold the advance tables etc. Megasquirt can now control spark, either distributorless through an EDIS module or with/without a distributor using one/both of the on-board coil drivers (V3 PCB only).
