The little wiki comment form at the bottom of each page at piclist.com got a little smarter today. It looks better as well: More like actual edit buttons on the top of the text area. The link button really looks at the selected text and if it appears to be a valid URL, it just makes it into a link without any more fuss. If it looks like just regular text, it pops an input asking for the URL. Try it out! Just type something, select it, and click the sidways 8 or press ctrl+L (for Link) and see what it does. But the big news is the SPELL CHECKER! And boy do I need one when I use the form. :o) This feature is from http://www.amix.dk and is called googiespell. This guy is a freaking genius... He figured out a way to make your browser go ask google if the words are spelled ok and offer suggestions. VERY nice user interface. The only concern I have is that on some of my machines (and not others) when you press the spell check button, it gives you this warning about unsafe access to data or some crap. Please do let me know if you see that. Of course, the other concern is that in adding features that work well with IE, I may have broken something in other browsers. Please do check in your favorite weird browser and let me know what happens? Thank you! And now, I'm late for home...
