Embedded System Design is my favorite, their regular contributors Ganssle, Saks, Murphy, Crenshaw and others are excellent. The CD-ROM archive of past issues that they sell is worth its weight in gold. I also read EE Times, Conformity, Compliance Engineering, NASA Tech Briefs, Sensors and, Desktop Engineering. All are available free to qualified subscribers.
