My cousin Matthew (who is responsible for some of the OT material I feed y'all) says - Hi Russell, I have found another program called nlite http://www.nliteos.com/index.html it allows you to build you on version of windows & create a bootable cd. I have got win xp with service pack 2 (installed 998MB without .net 1.1 & 2) & .net loaded onto a 2GB compact flash card with 564MB (no swap file) to spare (I'm building a car pc, 7inch touch screen, mini itx 1.2GHZ VIA, 512MB ram 60GB 2.5inch HDD, boots of 2GB compact flash, wifi, fm radio/tv, mp3,divx,sat nav etc). If interested I'll post some picks & info on my website. Matt P.S I did do a very basic build that was only 500 odd mb installed for xp. Most people in the forum say around the 800mb for a xp install. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
