yES but you need to have administrator rights on your terminal. Not the
network then it will work..

Is anyone using MPLAB without administrator account? I have tried 7.30 and
have gotten nowhere. The response I got from Microchip's support team:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE section in order to use MPLAB v7.10 in a
non-administrator account.

You will also need to ensure that the folder where MPLAB has been installed
is fully-controlable by the user.

Notice they say 7.10, although I specifically said 7.30 in my support
query. I have no idea how to accomplish the steps they suggest. I also
have the impression that only one user on the machine will be able to use
it, even if I can get it to work.
