Bad article. It reproduces a lot of Cortex sales talk, but it does not
mention at all what the alledgely infringed patents are about!

I checked the three uChip 'patents'. They are all about having more
(selecteable) pin functions than pins (a form of multiplexing) I am not
against patents, but reading these three ones I hope the defendant will
find the propper prior art, and Microchip will be found guilty of utter
contempt of court!
