We have a requirement for 200 GPS units for in car use.
Lots of them out there and I'm looking at obvious options.
Availability and cost are important.
Suggestion on or off list welcome.
MUST be available essentially NOW and cost very little :-)
My client would probably offer a *modest* finders fee (1%?)(more?) for 
a suitably brilliant lead that we act on.

Units with integrated antenna or separate engine plus antenna OK.
Cost effectiveness is a major aim.

Unit does not need to be environmentally sealed if it is suitable for 
eg on dashboard use.
An environmentally sealed unit designed for outside-car mounting may 
be acceptable.

These are to replace units we have been purchasing which are now no 
longer available.
As a guide, these were costing us under $NZ80 ($US50) each in 
quantity. RS232 output, 12V  supply.

As an example, the Garmin GPS18 OEM is technically suitable.
Their GPS15H engine-only is also technically suitable but unhoused.
Adding own housing and external antenna acceptable if total cost is 
lower.

We will have an ongoing requirement for GPS receivers.
