I suppose thats the reason why they want to test the skis. The gliding fact=
ors of a ski will be defined by different things: the temperature of the sn=
ow, the humidity of the snow, the material of the surface, the wax. If you =
use no wax and test with the same snow the gliding speed depends more or le=
ss (probably more) on the surface of the ski. =
