So far it looks standard. Never run the display without applying BP pulses with 50% duty cycle. I once wrote a simple test program for a G648D (?) display that sounds similar to what yo have. The program was a Turbo C one under DOS and drove the display through a parallel port (bit banged). If you want it email me privately please (me toos privately too please).
