Can you interleave writes to 2 RAM banks?  Go nuts and interleave 
writes to 4 banks if you want to be able to read and write at the same time.

I'm thinking of the old tag RAM that used to be available for free 
from old computer motherboards.  Most of that was 15ns stuff.
