A simple way to have it use a single trace width for everything is to set the min trace width in the design rules. In the DRC settings, go to "sizes" tab, then set the minimum width. The autorouter always complies with the DRC minimums. You could set this to 10, say, do autoroute, then set it back to 8 so if you manually routed at 8 you won't get complaints when running the DRC on the board. Also, if you want it to use smaller than default vias, set the minimum drill. I use 16mils. But you also have to change the "restring" - go to restring tab, and for vias, outer, I have 8mil minimum, 25%, 16mil maximum. This makes vias with 16mil drills, the smallest size that doesn't require additional $ for pcb manufacturing. And you can (usually) fit a 30awg wire-wrap wire in the hole as well for fixing design problems on prototypes later... Hope it helps J Wouter van Ooijen wrote: > [Eagle] Where can I specify the trace width the autorouter will use?
