Hi Mike, No I haven't talked to Philips about it since I got the information from ou= r = local distributor which in turn has a hard time to find any replacement. I = guess they would have talked to Philips but you never know. Thanks for the = tip, = I will check it myself. Philips web site actually says it is discontinued because of the Stadskanaa= l = plant closure in Netherlands and that the product is non manufacturable. I have found replacement diodes but they cost about 10 times more than the = BY8410 (about 2$ per part instead of 0.2$ in 10000's quantity) which gets a= lot = when you need 24 diodes per unit.
