I printed a plain text document (reasonably full page) to a printer driver with image writer function (FinePrint) and looked at the result with Paint Shop Pro's histogram function. About 3.5% black pixels. I can easily repeat this, if you want to send me a few sample pages (e.g. some PDFs).
