Further, it's been replace by a DSTINIm400 that is not pin compatible (grr. I always figured the purpose of laying out something like a simmstick was that could keep a compatible pinout even while upgrading the guts.) It's theoretically a showcase for the Dallas high-speed 8051 clones, demonstrating their ability to implement internet protocols and such, but to me it sorta looks more like a testament to somebody's PCB design skills! The ethernet and memory on the the TINIm390 aren't integrated, they're just thrown on there by brute force; the parts count is... impressively large. (the m400 is better; the ds80c410 chip does have integrated ethernet...) http://www.maxim-ic.com/TINIplatform.cfm http://www.maxim-ic.com/products/tini/pdfs/TINI_GUIDE.pdf BillW -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
