There are ways to embrace your customer base and have them help you go further without putting your company at risk; it's all part of good project management and team empowerment with a proper understanding of risk management and mitigation (thats my business). But again, it doesn't sound like you are interested in another million customers (MAC / Linux based hobbyist). Especially since one of the posters did not even bother to check and see that anyone can buy a MAC for $599 or less instead of the posted thousands of dollars. Your choice.
