I agree, interest in electronics doesn't imply involvement or interest with ham radio. I've been doing electronics since about the same age as Wouter. While I did read up on ham radio it never really appealed to me. As a kid expense was the primary reason I never even considered getting my license. These days there's just so much stuff out there ham just doesn't seem interesting to me. Just my humble opinion.
