Fansler > S/V Annabelle > david@dv-fansler.com > www.dv-fansler.com After years (decades really) of being a symantec/norton user (I dare not say fan), I just this past month exorcised all my machines of their products (except Turbo Tax, I can't wean myself from that). I am now using, at the recommendation of a good friend who's business provides computer and network support to other businesses, the AVG product. They have an excellent FREE version licensable for home use, plus several other flavors. So far I really like it. Very quick automatic updates. Easy to install. It SEEMS TO CREATE MUCH LESS OF A LOAD ON MY SYSTEM (sorry for shouting, but that is a really big deal to me). I have installed the home version on three family computers and purchased a SoHo license for two business machines. My friend spent quite a bit of time and research before deciding to standardize on AVG for themselves and clients.
