I'm not sure now. I thought this was the purpose of the WEAK attribute, but maybe anything from a library file is automatically treated as WEAK? I've only ever used dsPIC libraries to hold all but the startup routine of my projects. That way I can include debug code in the build and the linker only grabs it if it's referenced, which it wouldn't be in a production build. >> Don't use the Microchp libraries? > > Know a good substitute? I have no idea. That was just a flip answer not really meant to be serious. ****************************************************************** Embed Inc, Littleton Massachusetts, (978) 742-9014. #1 PIC consultant in 2004 program year. http://www.embedinc.com/products -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
