I am building a circuit which calls for a BC-177 transistor.  Digikey 
doesn't seem to have a listing for it, so I need to get an equivalent.  
As it is a low-power, audio transistor I feel sure that it will not be 
hard to find an equivalent, but I was wondering if there might be an 
easier way than just manually matching characteristics until I find 
something.  Is there some sort of "equivalence table" (or whatever the 
right name might be) available on the internet?  ("Teach a man to fish . 
. . :-)
