In SX Microcontrollers, SX/B Compiler and SX-Key Tool, George Herzog wrote: Well, downgrade ..... NO But, downsize ..... Yes. Parallax in the past year sold a lot of SX-48 protoboards as it was newly introduced. I suppose that someone with build all their prototypes on an SX-48 protoboard and get very comfortable with its version of code. Then they may want to go into production with an SX-28 to save costs as they don't need all the ports or rom or ram or other Mode features. At that point, they will find that that conditional compilation from Ubicom only provides for SX-28 code being shifted to SX-48. Like I said, it is a funny thing, a bit of a strange idea -- but a real possiblity. I guess I think too much. But if you want to make a bet that someone in the next year or two will be posting this problem, I think I can easily win. ---------- End of Message ---------- You can view the post on-line at: http://forums.parallax.com/forums/default.aspx?f=7&p=1&m=114254#m114664 Need assistance?
