The book "Beginning programming for dummies" uses Liberty BASIC as it's target language - a 2 faced compliment :-) Their aim apprars to be a sinmple easily earned language purposefully not made "feature ricj" but able to meet most programming needs. Looks lime a good path into Windows BASIC from the light-side (dark screens) BASICS of yore.
