I sent them an email, who knows, but they do state a minimum $1000 order. Bummer. I also called iriver & their repair dept is supposed to contact me. Getting prepared for sticker shock... This kind of reminds me of when our super nintendo broke. It wouldn't turn on. I took it to the local shop & suggetsted it might be a burnt diode or fuse. He called back & said the "whole board" needed to be replaced, at great expense. I said no, but asked him to crack the case open for me. Nintendo used to use a male Torx head so people like me couldn't get inside. What do you think I found? A nicely incinerated diode. Fifty cents and some solder later, I was back in business. Never trusted a repair shop since. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
